This privacy policy explains how Le Cavalier Bleu collects and processes your personal data when you use the lecavalierbleu.fr website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).
1. Data controller
The data controller is Andy Chansel, sole proprietor (EI) trading as Le Cavalier Bleu, 1 montée du Plateau, 13007 Marseille, France. For any question about your data, you can write to contact@lecavalierbleu.fr.
2. Data collected and purposes
Contact form. When you write to us through the form, we collect the information you provide (name, email address, message content) in order to answer your request and, where applicable, to draw up a quote. This information is sent to us by email. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Newsletter. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send it to you. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to us or via the unsubscribe link included in every email.
Booking a call. The “Book a call” button redirects you to the third-party service Calendly. The information you enter there (name, email address, chosen time slot, additional information) is collected by Calendly on our behalf in order to schedule the meeting. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
Technical data. When you browse the website, our host records technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) in its connection logs, in order to ensure the proper functioning and security of the website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest and our legal obligations.
We currently do not use any audience measurement or advertising tools on the website.
3. Retention periods
Data relating to contact requests and prospects is kept for three years from your last contact with us. Client data is kept for the duration of the business relationship, then archived for the applicable legal periods (in particular ten years for accounting records). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Connection logs are kept by our host for a maximum of one year.
4. Recipients and processors
Your data is intended solely for Le Cavalier Bleu. It may be processed by our technical service providers, strictly within the scope of their services: our host OVH SAS (OVHcloud), whose servers are located in Europe, and Calendly for appointment booking. It is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Calendly is a company based in the United States. The data you provide to it may therefore be processed outside the European Union. These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (the European Commission adequacy decision on the Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). We invite you to read Calendly’s privacy policy.
6. Cookies
The website only uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function, which do not require your consent. No audience measurement, advertising or social media cookies are set when you visit. The links to Instagram, LinkedIn and Calendly are simple links: these services only set cookies if you visit their websites. If we were to add tools that require consent, this policy would be updated and your consent would be requested beforehand.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, as well as the right to object to processing and to withdraw your consent at any time. You may also set out instructions regarding what happens to your data after your death. To exercise these rights, write to contact@lecavalierbleu.fr specifying your request.
If, after contacting us, you believe that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
8. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorized access, disclosure or alteration.
9. Changes to this policy
We may amend this policy from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page.
